Job Summary
A cybersecurity company has an open position for a Telecommuting Cyber Security Analyst in Herndon.
Must be able to:
- Proactively drive hunting and analysis against the data generated
- Leverage internal and external resources to research threats, vulnerabilities, and intelligence
- Use custom hunting VDI solution to identify root cause, scope, and severity
Qualifications for this position include:
- Demonstrated to advanced experience with computer networking and operating systems
- Demonstrated to advanced experience of current threats, vulnerabilities, and attack trends
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Possess good time management and written and oral communications skills
- Experience with one of the following: Splunk, NetWitness, Arcsight, McAfee NSM, and other related tools
