Job Summary

A technology company has an open position for a Telecommuting Data Warehouse Architect.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Tackling performance issues with ad-hoc and nightly jobs
• Designing, documenting, implementing, and maintaining patterns for effectively performing these tasks
• Implementing ETL to extract data from large, event-based data structures

Required Skills:

• Skilled written communicator
• Experience with data warehouses
• Ingested data from other systems, made sense of them, matched up data without the luxury of cross-system identities and built conformed models from them
• Experience optimizing queries, especially on column-oriented storage systems
