Job Summary

An online college is in need of a Telecommuting Distance Education Librarian in San Diego.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Developing and delivering webinars for students on research and information literacy topics
  • Providing reference and research assistance and library instruction to online students
  • Engaging with faculty and staff to identify resource needs

Position Requirements Include:

  • Demonstrable experience with using online library databases
  • Reference experience in a university, college or public library environment
  • Experience with providing library instruction or creating instructional materials
  • Knowledge of current issues and trends in information literacy
  • Proficiency with modern information technology
  • MLS or MLIS from an ALA-accredited institution
