Job Summary
A health call center organization is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommuting EPIC Patient Communication Specialist in Eagle Mountain.
Must be able to:
- Communicate with patients via telephone and schedule appointments
- Efficiently schedule radiology and diagnostic procedures
- Follow a predefined script
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Experience with basic insurance guidelines
- Minimum 2 years recent experience in medical-oriented scheduling environment
- Adept at handling large call volumes, preferably with use of VOIP call systems
- Working knowledge of the following systems: EPIC, Cerner, and/or PHS
- Proficient capability with pre-registration and insurance verification
- Excellent communication skills, customer service skills and phone etiquette
