Job Summary
A media company is seeking a Telecommuting Food Director in New York City.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Working with Editor-in-Chief to plan and envision development of brand
- Concepting, packaging and writing cooking stories, including recipe development
- Concepting, pitching, assigning, editing and packaging smart, engaging cooking content and recipes from food staff and freelancers
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Minimum of 4+ years experience in publishing with focus on food content
- Deep experience in managing staff and freelancers
- Skilled in concepting, acquiring, and packaging food content
- Experience in editing recipes and service content for accuracy, service, and voice
- Experience in web analytics: Google Analytics, Chartbeat, Parse.ly
- Ability to balance multiple priorities, and adjust strategy and execution in face of new information
