Job Summary
A healthcare company is filling a position for a Telecommuting Health Plan Operations Program Manager in the San Diego Area.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Reviewing new and existing state policies, all plan letters (APLs), county agreements (MOUs/MOAs) and other contract requirements
- Working with designated policy and process leaders to define work teams, action plans, timelines and deliverables for changes to state policies, APLs, MOUs/MOAs and contract requirements
- Project managing programs and efforts from intake through completion including sign off by policy owners and operational readiness testing
Position Requirements Include:
- Attend external meetings
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years of experience in leadership/program management role within healthcare managed care organization
- 5+ years of experience in a large, complex and successful health care managed care organization with demonstrated track record of increasing responsibility and accountability
- In-depth experience with California Medi-Cal, Medicaid, state regulations and state policy
- Demonstrated strong project management and analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including well-developed interpersonal skills used to influence the behavior of others across a highly-matrixed organization
