Job Details

A professional service is in need of a Telecommuting Human Resources Classification Specialist.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Provide a full range of classification services that include research, analysis, and investigative techniques
  • Draft and re-describe position descriptions (PDs)
  • Conduct desk audits and position reviews and provide support with realignments and reorganizations

Position Requirements Include:

  • Knowledge and specialized experience applying the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) classification standards, grade evaluation guides, and policies
  • Excellent written and communication skills with proven ability to develop probing questions to discover facts and assess the level and degree of difficulty of individual work assignments
  • 4 years of prior Federal position classification experience is required
  • Proven ability to meet strict deadlines while handling a high volume of work
