Job Summary

An insurance company has a current position open for a Telecommuting Insurance Diversity and Inclusion Director.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Directing, developing, implementing and monitoring large and sustainable diversity programs
  • Developing training and targeted programming in order to create and foster an open and inclusive environment
  • Inspiring and motivating others to create positive change

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • Bachelor's degree required in a related discipline or equivalent
  • Typically a minimum of ten years of related work experience, with at least 3 years of management experience leading and facilitating diversity and inclusion initiatives with a demonstrated return on investment
  • In-depth understanding of D&I concepts and principles and how it relates to other disciplines across the HR and the business. Is passionate about issues of equity and inclusivity.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate others to create positive change
  • Strong experience working with cross functional teams and leaders, with a solid ability to influence
  • Solid experience developing and implementing targeted D&I programing for pipeline and high potential diverse talent
