Must be able to:
- Assess current coding and abstracting operations, recommend and implement measures for streamlining operations
- Coordinate the daily workflow and reporting activities for teams of 18 coders
- Ensure coding quality and productivity standards are achieved and maintained
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Associates' or Bachelor's Degree in Health Information Management, Healthcare Informatics, or related field
- Certification in RHIT/RHIA/CCS
- +5 years of direct coding management experience in a hospital setting
- Duration: 3-6 months
- This role will be mostly remote BUT will require weekly onsite presence for the first month.
