A staffing agency is in need of a Telecommuting Java Developer in Austin.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Working as a mid-senior level member of a software development team
- Performing development, implementation and post deployment support of enterprise applications
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Must be able to drive on-site to Austin office for occasional meetings
- Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related field and 3-5 years relevant experience. OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related field and 2 to 5 years of relevant experience
- Advanced understanding in complex concepts of data organization
- Advanced proficiency in Object Oriented (OO) Programming
- Advanced knowledge of information systems design principles and current/emerging trends in this field is required
- Knowledge of policies, standards, procedures, and techniques used for application development is required
