Job Summary

A staffing company is seeking a Telecommuting Java Scala Software Engineer in Tewksbury.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Build and Deliver mission critical, SaaS web applications
  • Be a change agent for agile software development practices
  • Build a micro-services architecture to advance technology stack

Position Requirements Include:

  • Work remote a few days per week
  • Strong Core Java and Scala programming skills with an understanding of the broader ecosystem
  • Experience building highly scalable systems in a SaaS environment
  • Mastery of Object-oriented programming and of multi-threaded programming
  • Must have strong knowledge of SQL
  • Typically 6 years of professional software experience
  • Experienced with Agile development methodologies
