Job Summary
A well-known health insurance company has an open position for a Telecommuting Network Contracting Director in Southern California.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Build and sustain team synergy while maintaining accountability for results
- Lead and manage the development of company's provider relationships with hospitals
- Provide effective operations management, ensuring that all contracts are within required guidelines
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Must be able to travel 25%
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or a related field; or
- A minimum of 10 years' provider contracting experience to include hospital contracting in the state of California
- 5+ years Medicare Advantage experience in a Health plan or 10+ years within a managed care organization
- A minimum of 5 years' progressive contracting experience for a national health plan
- A minimum of 5 years' experience with value-based reimbursement methodology and a thorough knowledge of CMS funding
