Job Summary

A technology firm has an open position for a Telecommuting OpenStack NFV Product Lead Software Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Contribute to the support team directly as an expert in the NFV area
  • Assist in the development of comprehensive and reusable self-service solutions for future incidents
  • Resolve significant customer defect, usability, and supportability issues in the NFV features

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • 5 years of experience as a technical support or development engineer
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field
  • Experience working with Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) platforms
  • Practical Linux operating system installation, configuration, upgrade, and maintenance experience
  • Experience with advanced virtualization and process optimizations of threading, CPU pinning and NUMA
  • Experience with network architecture, tcpdump analysis and Open vSwitch networking
