Job Summary
A healthcare company is seeking a Telecommuting Podiatry and Ortho Surgical Coder in Chicago.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Assign appropriate ICD 10 CM and/or CPT codes to patient records
- Abstract clinical information from a variety of medical records
- Confirm appropriate DRG assignments
Skills and Requirements Include:
- 3+ years work experience
- Minimum 6 months medical coding and 6 months general clerical experience required
- 10,000 Alpha Numeric and Numeric keying speed required
- Must have Ortho and/or Podiatry Surgery Coding Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
- CPC or CCS required
