Job Summary
A nonprofit healthcare company is filling a position for a Telecommuting Professional Fee Coder II.
Must be able to:
- Code ancillary services to ensure timely, accurate and complete charge capture
- Ensure that encounters are coded to meet compliance and coding regulations and guidelines
- Verify and audit basic coding performed by the site staff
Qualifications for this position include:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2-3 years medical coding experience required in a physician setting
- Formal coding education completed at an accredited certificate program – 1 year minimum
- Basic computer, word processing, and 10-key skills
