Job Summary

A software company has an open position for a Telecommuting Senior Cloud Infrastructure Architect.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Defining and developing cloud services road maps, reference architectures, standards, guidelines, and practices
• Creating cloud migration strategy as per the customer requirements
• Engaging with various customers in blueprinting workloads and migration to cloud

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Travel 35-40%
• Strong scripting skills, i.e., Powershell, Python, Bash, Ruby, Perl, etc
• 6 years of experience as a technical specialist in Customer-facing roles
• Deep knowledge and understanding of Linux and Windows-based systems administration skills in a Cloud or Virtualized environment
• Knowledge of IP networking, VPN's, DNS, load balancing and firewalling
• Experience with any virtualized environment - VMware, Hyper-V, Oracle VM or KVM
