Job Summary

Computer game company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommuting Senior Data Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Architecting and implementing high performance data pipelines for distributed systems and data analytics for deep learning teams
• Using infrastructure as code to build, deploy, operate, and maintain big data analytics infrastructure
• Orchestrating large PB sized data storage and computing clusters across bare-metal and cloud

Required Skills:

• BS or MS in Computer Architecture, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related data intensive Engineering Degree with 5+ years of relevant experience in big data technologies and deployment automation
• You have a proven technical foundation and experience in traditional big data technologies  and common architectures
• You built and orchestrated massive big data clusters, infrastructure, and services
• You used infrastructure as code for deployment using cloud automation tools
• A deep programming background that incorporates best practices like data structures, design patterns, OOP, and test drive development
• Strong skills in scripting tasks and are adept in using Linux and typical development tools
