Job Summary

A software company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommuting Data Scientist.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Ultimately produce creative analytic solutions
• Provide expertise on mathematical concepts for the broader Applied Insights Team
• Identify and prioritize actionable, high impact insights across a variety of core business areas

Position Requirements Include:

• Highly skilled at R and/or Python programming for data science
• Master's Degree in Operations Research, Applied Statistics, Data Mining, Machine Learning or a related quantitative discipline
• 4-5+ years' experience delivering world-class data science outcomes
• Deep understanding of statistical and machine-learning approaches
• Use of graphical packages, like ggplot2, matplotlib, plotly, or seaborn, to visualize outcomes to a wide audience
