An IT company has a current position open for a Telecommute Senior Software Engineer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Working to adapt it and extend it in new directions, driven by roadmap
- Authoring and contributing changes upstream
- Engaging with both user base and the community
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Prior open source contributions
- Believe that clear written communication is an essential part of open source collaboration, and have a record of high-quality interactions on PRs/issues/designs
- Strong Golang experience
- Worked on and with multiple data-intensive systems
- Operated a production service, and have associated experience using monitoring and observability tools
- Able to work effectively in a distributed/remote setup
