Job Summary
A telecommunications provider is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommuting Sign Language Interpreter.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Being able to effectively interpret in a dialogic manner
- Providing effective communication in a video environment and/or on-site services environment
- Providing interpreting services for Deaf, Hard of Hearing and hearing customers
Qualifications for this position include:
- Provide Sign Language interpreting through video and/or on-site at various customer locations when needed
- Must be in compliance with State Licensure requirements
- Demonstrate high quality American Sign Language and spoken English skills
- Must have three years current and consecutive experience interpreting through video in a call center
- Accurate interpreting skills
