Job Summary

A technology company has a current position open for a Telecommuting Solution Architect.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Understanding and advising customers on data ecosystem architectures
  • Operating the internal ordering process, from sizing to delivery
  • Serving as trusted technical advisor to client

Position Requirements Include:

  • 25%+ travel is required
  • BS in Computer Science, or comparable experience
  • Seven years or more of operational or technical data management platform implementation experience
  • Strong understanding of Data Warehouse and Analytical ecosystem architectures
  • Client interface and consulting skills required, with special focus on clear communications
  • Experience with data management technologies such as Hadoop and/or Big Data Discovery environments
  • Proven capabilities in relational database and application development environments using (Teradata, DB2, Oracle, Hadoop, Spark, etc.) and operational knowledge of third party data transformation and BI tools (COGNOS, Business Objects, Informatica, etc.)
  • Significant experience supporting analytical applications and working with advanced analytics professionals
