Job Summary

An eCommerce clothing company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommuting Styling Service Lead Software Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Writing clear, self-documenting code, and seeking out best practices
  • Writing efficient, scalable code
  • Mentoring other engineers and helping them implement your architectural solutions

Qualifications for this position include:

  • 8+ years development experience, with strong Ruby/Rails and/or React skills
  • Familiar with a range of modern data stores (Postgres, Redis, ElasticSearch)
  • Serious (but pragmatic) about TDD, and refactor aggressively
  • Ability to do dev-ops work as needed (we’re fully on AWS)
