Job Summary
A computer company is in need of a Telecommuting Technical Customer Service Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Accepting customer calls, alerts and escalations
- Engaging in IT certification programs and training to develop expertise
- Act as a mentor to Level 1 Customer Service Representatives
Position Requirements Include:
- Ability to travel 25% of the time
- BS Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering or technical degree or equivalent experience
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting routers and switches
- Technical support experience in IT infrastructure: storage, backup, databases and network
- Strong MS Office skills: developing documents, technical diagrams, spreadsheets, and presentations
