Job Summary

A computer company is in need of a Telecommuting Technical Customer Service Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Accepting customer calls, alerts and escalations
  • Engaging in IT certification programs and training to develop expertise
  • Act as a mentor to Level 1 Customer Service Representatives

Position Requirements Include:

  • Ability to travel 25% of the time
  • BS Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering or technical degree or equivalent experience
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting routers and switches
  • Technical support experience in IT infrastructure: storage, backup, databases and network
  • Strong MS Office skills: developing documents, technical diagrams, spreadsheets, and presentations
