Job Summary

A staffing firm has a current position open for a Telecommuting Technical Scala Developer in Atlanta.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Designing and developing applications in the music and sports industries
  • Working alongside other tenured Scala Engineers

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Strong Scala skills, DevOps (AWS/Docker, Swarm, moving to Kubernetes), work with Microservices (90% Scala, 10% Node.js).
  • Must have at least 10 years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years working with Scala
  • Must have the ability to work in a highly autonomous environment
  • Be self-motivated
