Job Summary

A technology company has a current position open for a Telecommuting Technical Writer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Initially, reviewing and making updates to the existing Help articles
  • Receiving and processing article requests to create new articles with the release of new versions of the customer's software
  • Delivering on time and on quality

Qualifications Include:

  • Ability to travel to customer site in California for onboarding, with travel to customer site infrequently
  • 4+ years of technical writing experience, preferably within the software industry
  • Superior writing skills (spelling, punctuation, grammar) in English
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of basic project management tasks and the ability to deliver work on time, on quality and on budget
  • Position requires at least equivalent of Bachelor's degree and/or certification in related field or appropriate industry experience
