Job Summary
An innovative memory solutions company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommuting Worldwide Field Applications Engineering Director in Boise.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Building relationships with key decision makers in the customer’s BU and Engineering Organizations
- Enabling a relationship of trust and partnership with customers though technical excellence and responsiveness
- Fostering cross-department collaboration to align customer technical support
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Strong understanding of the Storage Market from traditional enterprise storage to emerging trends in software defined storage
- Strong Technical background in SSD development
- Strong understanding of flash technology and trends
- Experience working with customers in evaluating customer requirements, early engagement to enable product definitions and execution of Design Wins
- Existing relationships with key storage customers will be an asset in this role
- Demonstrated people leadership
