Test Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Test Engineer will validate software quality and performance through manual and automated testing, develop test plans, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Validate software applications through manual and automated testing, ensuring compliance with standards and readiness for deployment
• Develop and execute test plans and automated test scripts for Electronic Contract Management System (eCMS) enhancements
• Collaborate with Product Owners and DevSecOps teams to identify defects and ensure high-quality releases

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
• Experience in Agile testing environments
• Proficiency with testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
• Experience with API testing tools
• U.S. Citizenship required for this position
