Job Summary
To support student achievement in a remote environment, the full-time salaried Texas Licensed English Interventionist will deliver targeted English Language Arts interventions for grades 9-12, collaborate with educators, and monitor student progress through data-driven strategies.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, individualized English Language Arts instruction and interventions aligned with student needs and Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS)
- Analyze assessment data to identify students needing intervention and adjust instructional plans based on ongoing progress monitoring
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to align interventions with core instruction and support school-wide literacy initiatives
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, English Education, or a closely related field; Master's degree preferred
- Valid Texas teaching certificate for grades 9-12 English Language Arts and Reading
- Minimum of three years of successful classroom teaching experience in secondary English Language Arts
- Experience in a virtual teaching environment and knowledge of evidence-based adolescent literacy instruction
- Familiarity with Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and strategies for supporting academically at-risk students
