Job Summary
A company is looking for a GI Nurse Practitioner to serve as the clinical lead for gastrointestinal patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide gastrointestinal care to adults via telemedicine, focusing on conditions like IBS, IBD, and GERD
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement treatment plans and ensure coordinated patient care
- Engage in professional development and maintain licensure while prioritizing patient care activities
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- Current licensure as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse
- Masters Degree, Post Masters' Certificate, or Doctorate in Nursing
- Current certification by ANCC or other qualifying agency as an Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in gastroenterology in an outpatient setting
- Willingness to learn and use telehealth platforms and administrative technologies
