Job Summary
A company is looking for a GI Nurse Practitioner to serve as the clinical lead for gastrointestinal patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide gastrointestinal care to adults via telemedicine, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for various GI conditions
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement treatment plans and ensure coordinated patient care
- Allocate significant time to patient care activities, maintaining availability for weekend and evening appointments
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse
- Master's Degree, Post Master's Certificate, or Doctorate in Nursing
- Current certification by ANCC or other qualifying agency as an Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in gastroenterology in an outpatient setting
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms and willingness to learn administrative technologies
