Job Summary
Representing commercial insureds for a prestigious insurance carrier, the full-time Texas Licensed Trial Attorney will prepare and try moderate to high exposure General Liability cases while working remotely with access to local office support.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct all phases of litigation, including initial investigation, legal analysis, and trial preparation
- Mentor less experienced attorneys and provide leadership and training within the organization
- Evaluate damages, prepare legal documents, and handle pre-trial discovery and hearings
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor and 7+ years of litigation experience
- Member of the Texas State Bar in good standing
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe, and legal research tools like Lexis or Westlaw
- Knowledge of the insurance industry and insurance defense litigation
- First chair jury trial experience preferred
