Job Summary
A company is looking for a Part Time Underwriter.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service new and renewal business by determining risk acceptability, pricing, and coverage
- Review inspection reports, collect documentation, and assist customers with inquiries
- Prepare and submit invoicing requests, assist with policy preparation, and perform routine clerical tasks
Required Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of underwriting experience
- E&S wholesale experience preferred
- Current California State Insurance License and appropriate Non-Resident Licenses
- Working knowledge of MS Office and Agency Management Software Systems
- Experience with carrier websites preferred
