VDC Pipe Designer

Job Summary

Utilizing Computer Aided Design (CAD) software, the full-time VDC Pipe Designer will model, coordinate, and prepare detailed drawings for mechanical systems, with the potential for fully remote work for the right experienced candidate.

Key responsibilities

• Generate mechanical pipe models based on project specifications and design drawings
• Incorporate updates to drawings and models as the project progresses, managing specifications and change orders
• Collaborate with the design team to identify and resolve construction errors due to design flaws

Required qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in mechanical piping and process pipe trade or 5+ years of BIM experience using Revit, Fabrication of CAD MEP, and Navisworks Manage
• Ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision
• Familiarity with following written and oral instructions and adhering to company policies
• Availability to work assigned schedules
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
