VDC Pipe Designer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time VDC Pipe Designer, this position offers the potential for remote work for qualified candidates and is responsible for utilizing CAD software to model, coordinate, and prepare detailed drawings for mechanical systems.

Key responsibilities:

• Generate mechanical pipe models based on project specifications, design drawings, and control diagrams
• Incorporate and manage updates to drawings, models, and specifications throughout the project lifecycle
• Collaborate with the design and build team to resolve construction errors and ensure project accuracy

Required qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience in mechanical piping and process pipe trade or 5+ years of BIM experience with Revit, CAD MEP, and Navisworks Manage
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• Familiarity with generating and managing spools, prefabrication drawings, and control documentation
• Adherence to company policies and procedures
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
