Job Summary

Seeking a freelance Vertical Video Editor to produce 3 to 5 high-quality vertical videos per week, focusing on TikTok, Reels, and Pinterest content, with a turnaround of 24 to 48 hours, utilizing CapCut to create polished 9:16 masters from provided assets.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble and edit vertical videos using CapCut, following provided beat sheets and brand guidelines
• Color grade footage for warmth and sync audio to music with platform-native pacing
• Export final videos as 9:16 1080x1920 MP4 files and deliver editable project files for iteration

Required qualifications

• Proven experience editing vertical videos for TikTok, Reels, or Pinterest
• Proficiency in CapCut; familiarity with Premiere or DaVinci is a plus
• Ability to color grade effectively and understand pacing for social media
• Strong understanding of brand systems and the importance of hooks in video content
• Availability to communicate via Slack during US business hours
