Job Summary

A financial services company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Virtual Accounting Associate in the Dallas Area.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Perform month-end and year-end close activities, from balance sheet and cash account reconciliations to financial statement preparation
• Perform reconciliation and variance analysis on budget vs. actual expenditures
• Ensure that all bank statements are reconciled on a timely basis and follow-up on all outstanding checks and reconciling items monthly

Required Skills:

• THIS JOB CAN BE 100% VIRTUAL, preference goes to someone in the Dallas area that can occasionally go to the client site
• A degree in Accounting or Finance and a minimum of 1-3 years accounting experience (Month end close, etc)
• Strong accounting and analytical skills in a faced pace environment
• Demonstrated consistency in values, principles and work ethic
• Ability to multitask, work successfully under pressure, and effectively prioritize and manage time and workload to meet client needs
