Job Summary

As a successful speaker and writer, I am looking for someone to be my right-hand for a long-term engagement.

Initially the work would be around 10 -15 hours/week and might grow from there.

Responsibilities may include:
--Respond to emails and phone calls
--Travel coordination - making accommodation reservations, updating travel in calendar, logistics, and necessary documents
--Assisting with client related work for speaking engagements and workshops, such as creating presentations as well as planning and managing events
--Manage basic invoicing and collections including tracking payments from clients. Inputting receipts into Quickbooks or sending receipts to a book-keeper as needed.
--Managing contact list within CRM, including the placement of new contacts, creating a customer spreadsheet upon request and maintaining online records. (Capsule, Karma)
--Coordinating and scheduling appointments (iCal)
--Perform market/other research
--Provide customer service as first point of contact
--Assist with social media postings and community management (Twitter, LinkedIn)
--Assist at times with personal life/2 children (e.g. travel)

Ideal Candidate: I seek a reliable and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant, who can handle numerous small and larger projects going on in parallel. Someone who is able to start with fewer hours and build up to more hours after some transition time.

--Proven success as a Virtual Assistant
--Excellent phone, email and communication skills
--Familiarity with current technologies & online meeting tools
--Strong abilities with word-processing software and spreadsheets
--Excellent time management and organizational skills
--Internet savvy; strong Internet connection is required
--Experience with MailChimp (specifically for newsletter campaigns) and Scoop.It
