Job Summary
A nonprofit, nonpartisan collaborative encyclopedia designed to connect people to politics and elections at the local, state and federal level has a current position open for a Virtual Assistant Staff Writer.
Must be able to:
- Check and update state executive pages with info on current officeholders
- Update encyclopedic pages on state politics throughout the project
- Assist with elections coverage across the desk
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Ability to multi-task, organize numerous moving parts of a project, and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills across a variety of platforms
- Ability to accurately add information to the site in a neutral, clear and concise manner
- Ability to execute repetitive tasks while adhering to the organization's efficiency and error reduction standards
- Understanding and appreciation of the Wiki-ethos of collaboration and non-ownership of articles
