Job Summary

A healthcare provider is in need of a Virtual Backend Engineer in San Francisco.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with UI and application developers to shape and define API contracts
  • Create reusable and maintainable systems and abstractions
  • Help to maintain a high technical bar

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience, with a Bachelors Degree (in CS) or equivalent
  • Well versed with AWS services (IAM, KSM, EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, Cloud Formation)
  • Familiarity with relational database systems like Postgres or MySQL
  • Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining complex asynchronous backend processing jobs
  • Dedication to code quality, automation and operational excellence
