A technology company has a current position open for a Virtual Data Services Senior Systems Engineer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Collaborate to roll out new products and feature
- Collaborate to troubleshoot time-sensitive production issues
- Keep petabytes of critical business data safe, secure and available
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field, such as CS, CIS or Engineering
- Experience with large scale datastores using technologies like Cassandra AND
- ElasticSearch, Kafka, Zookeeper, Hadoop, and Spark
- Experience with large-scale, business-critical Linux environments
- Experience operating within the cloud, preferably Amazon Web Services
