Job Summary

A private school is seeking a Virtual Elementary Special Education Teacher.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Evaluating student progress based on papers submitted, test scores, and observation as required
• Planning curriculum, lessons, and special education programs and teaching methods
• Instructing individuals and groups in special education skill areas daily

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

• Knowledge and experience using technology in a classroom
• Ability to apply knowledge of current research and theory to an instructional program
• Valid Iowa teaching certificate with a license in special education multi categorical special services
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
• Bachelor's degree in education from a four-year accredited college or university and an endorsement in Special Education
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
