Job Summary

Waijiaoyi is a Chinese educational start-up looking for home-based English teachers. We need energetic and dedicated people to teach Chinese students lessons online in a classroom setting. Waijiaoyi brings quality video lessons to smaller cities in China that otherwise might not benefit from classes with native English teachers. Our teachers benefit from a fixed schedule, provided teaching materials, and the assistance of a Chinese English teacher in the classroom while you are teaching. Benefits:
Earn up to $22 per hour USD ($22-25 is possible for very qualified teachers)
Assistance from a local English teacher in the classroom while you are teaching

Responsibilities:
Deliver online lessons with provided materials
Evaluate student work and provide feedback
Attend meetings and trainings as required

Classes:
The students range in age from 8-16 years old
Classes are taught in a classroom with a Chinese teacher in the room
Classes are 25 or 50 minutes long depending on the school's preference

Job Requirements:
Fluency in English, Native English speaker preferred
Bachelor's Degree OR TEFL/TESOL certification (current university students considered at a lower pay rate)
Teaching experience preferred
High energy and enthusiasm for teaching
Ability to commit to at least four hours every Saturday and Sunday ( 8 AM- 6 PM Beijing Time)
A Fast internet connection and computer with camera
