We are seeking candidates to teach a Health Coach Ethics course within a Doctoral level Allied Health program at one of our partner institutions. Our institution is seeking professionals who can teach online. Minimal course development required.
Course Description:
This class is titled Health Coach Ethics but it includes much more than a discussion of professional ethics. The content of the class guides you along four topics from laying out the reach and limits of your profession as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, to delving into more complex and advanced coaching processes, to understanding the framework for ethical decision. Finally, you will learn the concept of ethical guidelines and codes - there are several - and how they apply to your practice.
It will feel like you’re stretching into a higher level of health coaching—so be prepared. Give this class your full attention. You will be expected to advance your knowledge and skills. The ultimate goal of this class is to fortify the foundational coaching process you learned and practiced in the previous classes, and to equip you with advanced skills.
Qualifications:
Although academic institutions vary in their qualification requirements, the ideal candidate will:
-Possess a doctorate or professional degree in Allied Health or related field
-Have knowledge of and previous experience using Canvas LMS
Additional desirable characteristics include:
-Previous university teaching experience at a graduate level
-Previous course development
-Experience teaching and/or working with diverse populations
