Job Summary

A healthcare company is in need of a Virtual Inpatient Coder in Nashville.

Must be able to:

• Assign ICD-10 diagnosis and procedure codes and present on admission indicators.
• Maintain at least a 95% accuracy rate
• Maintain average to high productivity based on Ardent Shared Coding Productivity Standards

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Successful completion of a Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology, and Pharmacology course
• Coding/HIM certification
• Minimum of 2 years coding/abstracting experience in hospital inpatient coding
• Advanced training in ICD-10
• Computer and software skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, encoder/grouper
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
