Job Summary
A health insurance company has a current position open for a Virtual Inpatient Coding Team Lead.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Adhering to and maintaining required levels of performance in both Coding accuracy and productivity
- Adhering to the Federal Coding Guidelines
- Identifying appropriate assignment of ICD-10 Codes and CPT for facility services
Qualifications for this position include:
- Coding credential required from AHIMA/AAPC
- HS Diploma or GED
- 3+ years of Outpatient medical coding experience
- Must have ICD-10 experience
- Ability to use a PC in a Windows environment, including MS Excel and EMR systems
- Access to high speed cable or DSL internet and a secure home office
