Job Summary

A packaging development and engineering company has an open position for a Virtual LifeScience Principal Packaging Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Lead the improvement and standardization of packaging on existing products
• Maintain ongoing communication with global counterparts and packaging vendors
• Perform statistical analysis on data generated from experiments and write a final report

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline like Packaging Science or Engineering
• Minimum of 10 years of packaging engineering experience in an FDA-regulated industry
• Packaging experience with blisters, foil pouches, thermoform trays, bottles and caps, SBS cartons, corrugate, and sterile packaging systems
• Experience with FDA/ISO regulations and ASTM standards
• Excellent written and communication skills
