Virtual Material Designer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Virtual Material Designer to drive 3D material creation for Footwear.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive 3D material creation from ideation to manufacturing for Footwear
- Collaborate with 3D counterparts and category product creation teams on deliverables
- Create and present assets that effectively communicate Design's intent to various audiences
Required Qualifications
- BA/BFA/MA preferred
- 3+ years of experience in a related 3D field or 2+ years with 3D digital workflow teams
- Portfolio demonstrating ability to create and render high-quality realistic 3D materials
- Proficient in 3D material authoring in a DCC tool (Substance Designer or equivalent preferred)
- Familiarity with creating parametric materials and rendering engines
