Job Summary

A staffing agency is searching for a person to fill their position for a Virtual Medical Coder.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Performing clinical coverage review of CPT and HCPCS coded claims
  • Determining appropriate level of service utilizing E&M Coding principles
  • Ensuring adherence to state and federal compliance policies, reimbursement policies and contract compliance

Required Skills:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of current CPT and HCPCS coding experience
  • Possess a nursing license and/or current certified coder
  • Experience with and ability to work independently with technology
  • Healthcare Claims or Managed Care experience
  • Investigational and/or Auditing experience
