Job Summary

A data company has a current position open for a Virtual Mid Level DevOps Engineer in Mountain View.

Must be able to:

  • Work collaboratively to deploy and operate our systems
  • Help automate and streamline our operations and processes
  • Build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring and operations

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience
  • Strong background in Linux/Unix administration
  • Experience with various automation/configuration management using either Puppet, Chef or an equivalent
  • Container-based deployment/test experience
  • Deep experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Strong coding and scripting skills
  • Knowledge of best practices and IT operations
