At Littera Education, our mission supports equitable, high-quality tutoring working directly with school districts. You can be part of our unique learning portal that connects students across the United States with talented Littera Education tutors to provide high quality, flexible, and targeted student support.

What will you do?

Are you ready to work with small groups with students? You will tutor students virtually in a 1:1 possibly up to 1:8 setting.

Do you want to understand what the students need? You will be provided an assessment or support materials so you can better understand their needs.

Are you ready to experience a great academic tool? Light scheduling in 2021 with the option of added hours in early 2022.

Do you have some available late afternoon or early evening time? You have the flexibility to choose the days or hours to be available to tutor. General tutoring hours are needed between 9am and 6pm across all USA time zones. Immediate need for tutor availability hours between 4pm and 7pm across all USA time zones.

What you will need to be successful here:

Experience working with students in grades 6-12

Previous online tutoring experience and/or a bachelor's degree preferred

College students welcome to apply with 1+ years of relative experience

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

General knowledge of curriculum and instruction

Ability to instruct and manage students

Must have a computer/tablet with the Chrome browser and access to Wi-Fi, a working microphone, and a camera.
